Harvinder Bedi, MBBS FRACS MPH

Harvinder BediHarvinder Bedi completed an undergraduate medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 1992.

After completing basic surgical training at St Vincent’s Hospital, Harvinder underwent orthopaedic training in Victoria and, in 2002, was accepted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. In 2003, he commenced work as an orthopaedic surgeon at The Northern and Box Hill Hospitals, and in 2005 joined the orthopaedic unit at the Alfred Hospital.


Between 2004 and 2005, Harvinder Bedi undertook a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford, UK, under Mr Paul Cooke - President of the British Foot Surgery Society. This included particular training in arthroscopy and forefoot surgery such as the correction of bunions, as well as reconstructive surgery for arthritis and following trauma.

Harvinder has also recently completed a Master of Public Health degree through Monash University, with a particular interest in injury prevention.
