Operation Information & Post-Op Guidelines

Surgery: Foot & Ankle Arthroscopy

HOSPITAL STAY
In Hospital 1 Day

DRESSINGS

Bandages
- then replace with cutifilm and tubigrip
2 Days
Appointment for Suture Removal 10 Days
MOBILISATION
Elevate foot 3 Days
Crutches 3-7 Days
Partial weight bearing 1 Week
Walking freely ~2-3 Weeks
WORK/DRIVING
NO driving 10 Days
RECOVERY
Foot remains swollen
Final result
8 Weeks
12 Weeks

Take regular analgesia 4-6 hourly throughout Post-Operative period (14 days).

Take 2 Panadol 1 hour before Post Op visit.
