Surgery: Ankle Reconstruction

HOSPITAL STAY
In Hospital 2 Days

DRESSINGS
Plaster Slab 14 Days
MOBILISATION
Elevate foot 10 Days
Crutches 14 Days
No weight bearing 2 weeks
Partial weight bearing in a brace 2 weeks
Full weight bearing in a brace 2 weeks
WORK/DRIVING
Off Work
- Office
- Standing occupation
2 Weeks
4 Weeks
NO driving 2-3 Weeks
RECOVERY
Foot remains swollen
Final result		 10 Weeks
12 Weeks

Take regular analgesia 4-6 hourly throughout Post-Operative period.

Take 2 Panadol 1 hour before Post Op visit.
