Terence Chin, MBBS, FRACS(Orth)

Terence Chin is a Melbourne based orthopaedic surgeon specialising in foot and ankle surgery. He studied medicine at the University of Adelaide, graduating in 1998. After completing his internship and basic surgical training at the Royal Adelaide and Queen Elizabeth Hospitals, he undertook orthopaedic surgical training in Victoria. He was admitted to the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2008.

Since completing his orthopaedic training, Terence has pursued further subspecialty training in foot and ankle surgery both locally and abroad. In 2009/2010, he undertook a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the Halifax Infirmary, Dalhousie University, Canada, under Associate Professor Mark Glazebrook (President of the Canadian Foot and Ankle Society). This included specific training in arthroscopic surgery, deformity correction (eg. bunion surgery) and the treatment of traumatic, sports related and degenerative conditions of the foot and ankle.
